Terms & Conditions


The below phrases have the following meanings:

“we”, “us” and “our” means Paper Ballards

“you” means the person or persons who are using our services.

All orders with us are subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please ensure you have read these terms, and agree to them before placing an order with us. If any order is received from you, we will act upon the understanding that you agree, and are in acceptance of these terms and conditions.  We reserve the right to make amendments to these terms and conditions at any time, should we do so, you will be notified appropriately.


Paper Ballards holds copyright for all designed material, including custom designs created for clients.  You, or any third party, cannot copy or reproduce any of our designs, anyone found doing so will be pursued using the appropriate legal route.

We hold the right to use custom designs for future projects and clients if appropriate.


Paper Ballards do not hold any responsibility for the information you provide. You must ensure all the information and spelling is correct before sending it to us. We are not responsible for proofreading or correcting any misspelling or grammatical errors. If your order requires amendments due any errors made by you, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee to reflect the time taken to make these amendments.



We cannot guarantee that the print and finish of the stationery will exactly match what is shown on your computer screen. Colours can vary depending on the screen you are viewing the works on.  While we try our best to make sure the sizing of our items is accurately described, some slight variations in size can occur due to all of our products being finished by hand.



Turnaround time means the amount of time it takes us to produce an order, and prepare it to be dispatched. All of our products are made to order, according to the customer requirements. Due to this fact, our anticipated turnaround time, for orders which do not require pre-approval, is 7 working days. Orders which require approval, such as custom designs and wedding invitations, will vary depending on the works required. The turnaround time will be agreed upon during the enquiry process.



During the design process we take all actions to minimise errors. If you have ordered an item which requires a digital proof, such as wedding invitation sets, we will email you with a digital proof of your order before it is sent to print. These proofs are sent to you, so you can check all spelling, grammar, wording and layout. It is your responsibility to ensure all elements of the design are as you would like them to appear on the final print. Should you need to request any amendments, please do so, but be mindful that only 2 digital proofs are included in the price you have paid. Any additional amendments after this will be charged at a flat rate of £20 per hour. Once you have given written approval to print your order, we cannot be held responsible for any errors. If you so happen to find errors after you have given printing approval, you will be charged for the time taken to correct these errors in addition to the full printing cost. 


All of our orders are dispatched from the UK via Royal Mail or DPD. The delivery window will depend upon the delivery option you select during the checkout process.  We estimate, after dispatch, your order will arrive with you, within the following windows:

  • UK: 5 business days.
  • Europe: 3 weeks.
  • USA and the rest of the world: 6 weeks.

These delivery windows, are estimates, based on what our delivery company provides, and may vary, especially during busy times such as Black Friday & Christmas.

Please be mindful, orders outside of the UK may require custom fees to be paid.  The responsibility of paying these fees lies solely with the customer.



If you decide to cancel your order, we reserve the right to deduct any costs for work already completed.  To avoid such costs, we recommend you cancelling an order within 24 hours of your order confirmation.

In the unlikely event that you wish to return your order, you must return it in its original state and packaging. The cost of the return postage is not covered by Paper Ballards. We are unable to accept returns for personalised, or custom designed goods.

During extreme or mitigating circumstances, Paper Ballards reserve the right to cancel any order, at any time.


The costings of bespoke designs vary depending upon the design work required. We will provide you with an estimated quote, which will reflect the information you provide. Should this information, or original design concept change, additional fees may be charged. All quotes for design work, include five amendments, any additional amendments will be charged at a rate of £20 per hour.



Paper Ballards will not use any orders with clear identifiable details on, until after the wedding date has passed. Once the wedding date has passed, Paper Ballards reserves the right to use any images of our own products with your details on, for marketing purposes.
