CREATING MEMORIES THIS EASTER.
As you know we have three, energetic boys so we’ve been thinking of Easter activities to make this bank holiday special.
We thought it would be nice to share our Easter ideas with you, so here they are:
1.
Egg & Spoon Race – We are setting up obstacles to ‘weave’ around for our older two and a straight route for our youngest (he’ll probably to want to do the same as his brothers tho!)
2.
Easter Egg Bucket Toss – Using those plastic eggs you can get, we are going to have Easter buckets for the boys to aim for. (You could just use balls though too if you don’t have eggs!)
3.
Easter Egg Matching Game – Again, using those plastic eggs, we will have an eggbox that they have to fill with the egg with the correct letter or number (and hide the eggs to make the activity last longer!).
4.
Easter Scavenger Hunt – Using the word ‘Easter’ they have to find an object matching each letter of the word. E.g. An egg for e, or an ant for A etc! We might add ‘Egg’ on actually to extend it!
5.
Easter Treasure Hunt – This takes a bit of time to set up but head to Made for Mums for age appropriate clues to use for your very own Easter Treasure Hunt! This is a firm favourite for us.
6.
Easter Nest Cakes – An all time favourite but so much fun and so tasty. We love this simple recipe from BBC Food. This one might actually be for me and Chris! Even with the mess, so worth it!
7.
After all that fun, now we think it’s time for some time out and a nice Easter film! Our Easter theme favourites are Hop, Peter Rabbit, Zootopia (& even Rise of the Guardians has the Easter Bunny in it!)
